Good morning,

Why are the UK Horse Races markets showing as Dormant, and is that why my bot isn't even reporting on those markets?

Thanks,

Chris

Hi Chris,

That is default race status as those races have not started yet.

By default bot will start monitoring markets few minutes before start time. This is explained in following help article:

Ok, thanks. How can I limit the maximum number of open bets on different matches? I have a strategy that need a fair amount of liability that could effectively bet on every football match

You can use "Market conditions->Unsettled markets" rule to allow X number of unmatched bets at same time. There are no other rules for this purpose.

Thanks!

And sorry last question, back to my dormant horse racing topic. Any ideas why the attached strategy didn't fire for imported tips which are also attached? I made sure when the tips were imported they had the selection and market IDs populated.

I changed the provider name in the strategy and upload files attached after they were imported, hence they are different to screenshot but they were the same.

Strategy that you posted here has "Selections filter" that allows it to bet only on tips from tipster "Tipsters". Your screenshot show stips from RussellBlair?

"Bet on imported tips" rule also allows betting only on "Tipster" tips.

All selections must be in price range of 1.01 - 10.0 as that is required by your Min/max price for selection rule.

If you are trying to place bets early e.g. 10 or 20 hours before start time, then make sure that you adjust "Tools&settings->Monitoring settings" to start monitoring markets before start time.
