Hi,
I just had a couple of questions that I hope someone may be able to help with please?
1. I want my strategy to place a bet in-running but cancel if not matched within a certain time. I have that part working as I want, but how do I ask the strategy to attempt the bet a second time if it was unsuccessful the first time? I'm happy to back multiple runners, but I only want to place one bet per runner, and only make two attempts at placing the one bet on each runner.
2. I'm having trouble getting a different strategy to place a hedge bet in running when the selection reaches a certain odds point. At the 'market conditions' I have 'Time to Bet' settings to place initial bets 5sec before in-play and stop placing bets 0sec before in-play, because I don't want to place any more initial bets in-running. Perhaps this is the issue but I have attached a couple of screenshots of my settings and if you could provide any advice on what I may be doing wrong, it would be greatly appreciated.

At strategy "Edit" form you can set max number of bets per runner to 2, this will allow it to place second trade after first one is completed. You can also use "Selection conditions->Max number of matched bets per runner" to check number of matched bets that you have on each runner, set it to 1 to allow 1 matched bet per runner.

Time to bet rule does not have effect on Hedge rule. Hedge will execute when its own settings are satisfied. There is more than one tab page of settings at Hedge form, so check other settings as well. Also if hedge is set to execute during in play then make sure your market is monitored until it is Closed at "Tools&Settings->Monitoring settings" form. Also make sure that you do NOT have any other "After bet rules" that might execute and prevent hedge from executing e.g. cancel bet rule.

I tried those suggestions today and the first strategy was working exactly as I wanted, so thank you.
However, I was still having issues with the hedge settings, with the strategy not firing in-play when the selection reached the requested odds despite checking all your suggestions. I have no other "After bet rules" set and have included a couple more screenshots in case you can pick up any other issues.

Change Last traded price to Actual price at hedge settings and change Back/Lay Ratio from 0% to 100% or 200%.

Then try again.
