Hedging out options

Hello,

Is it possible to hedge out but instead of hedging out to make an even profit across 3 outcomes to make a 50/50 split on 2 and £0.00 on another.

Example: I lay team1 who are an underdog. Team 2 scores and I have now greened up.

I don't want to cashout for an even profit across the 3 outcomes.

I want to split it if team 2 go on to win or draw the match

£0.00/£5.00/£5.00

instead of:

£3.33/£3.33/£3.33

Thanks

Phil

Maybe I cannot hedge out to guarantee £5.00/£5.00/£0.00 instead of £3.33/£3.33/£3.33

But it’s possible to trade out from a winning position without getting completely out of the original bet isn’t it?

I can trade out for same price as original stake and this would leave money behind?

Maybe my original question should of been around trading out rather than me referring to it as a hedge.

Thanks

Phil

It is not possible to trade out within same strategy so that you get position £5.00/£5.00/£0.00

You should have 2 strategies, one that places one bet and trade outs with same stake so that you get position £0.00, and second strategy that places and then trade outs your other two bets for £5.00
