Ensuring only one selection per race

Hi,

I am new to BF Bot Manager but think the software is great, I have struggled with one thing however and I am hoping someone may be able to help. I would like to place a bet on the favourite if the odds are between a range. I can do this by setting the Bet type by favorite position and Min/Max Selection Price. However I would like to be able to have a second range for the second favourite which only bets if the first one does not meet the criteria. Is there a way to ensure you only have one bet per race? I do not want to use the unsettled markets option as I would like to have several bets on different races at once. I hope this makes sense.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Cakes,

At strategy "Edit" form you can set maximum number of bets per runner to 1 and per market to 1, so that only one bet gets placed per market.

It is best that you create second strategy for 2nd favorite and to use "Market conditions->Only if specified strategy has bets" to check if first strategy has bets on same market. If you do it like this, then add this rule to first strategy too, to check if second strategy placed bets, to avoid situation where both strategies bet on same market.

Hi,

Thanks for the help, I think I cracked it just by editing the bets per market to 1 and then adding my rules for the second favourite below the first favourite rules.
