I have two strategies, both placing bets on the under/over 0.5 goals market.

Strategy A places a bet which is immediately matched
Strategy B places a bet which is unmatched

AFTER a goal has been scored, and for the purposes of the "only if specific strategy has bets" setting...

I understand that Strategy A would have SETTLED bets.
Would Strategy B continue to have UNMATCHED bets, even though the market has ended within Betfair?

In what situation would a bet be "inactive" ?

Bet is inactive if it is canceled, lapsed, voided.

So in the example I gave, would strategy B have an unmatched bet or an inactive bet?

It would be unmatched until it changes its status to lapsed/canceled and that would happen when market gets suspended or closed.

In the betdaq version of v3, it seems like the bot is unable to recognise when bets should be considered as "inactive".

I have a strategy with bets in the "under/over 0.5 goals" market that have gone from "unmatched" to "cancelled" after the market has closed.

I have other strategies set to hedge and place bets when the stategy mentioned above has "inactive" bets... and all are failing.

I am in live mode.

No worries. I have just realised that the software now has live scores and have changed my strategies accordingly.
I'm an idiot.
