Hi.

I want to create strategy which makes lay or back bet on horse racing 30 min before the start of the race. And then it would hedge out when odds are worst or better by 2 ticks. If price goes other way is it possible to cancel initial bet?

Hi Janis,

You can use "After bet rules->Hedge" and set it to execute when price changes by 2 ticks up or down. Hedge will place bet so that you get equal profit or loss regardless of outcome. If price moves in your favor you will get profit, if price moves against you you will get loss.

Please try it out in simulation mode to see if it works like you want it to and to test different settings.

Is it possible that if it doesn't hedge out initial bet is canceled?

Lets say i place back bet on second favorite with odds 6.00- 10.00. In after bet rules i ask to hedge out if it goes down by 2 ticks. If odds doesn't move down is it possible to cancel first bet?

Hi Janis,

If first bet is matched then it cannot be canceled, it can only be hedged by Hedge rule.

If first bet is unmatched then hedge will cancel it when it executes e.g. you can set hedge to execute after X seconds.
