Bf Bot Manager - Forum

Hi I am trying to set up a lay Football score 2-3, 3-3 & 3-2.

How do I go about getting the bot to make one bet out of the 3 based on the best odds for return?

Any help would be much appreciated (apologies if it’s simple, I’m slowly learning the logic!)

Current settings;

Market conditions:
Market filter- correct score
Event filter - football
Overrounds
Time to bet - 5 seconds before in play

Selection conditions:
Bet type by runner - 14 is lay
“ - 13 is lay
“ - 12 is lay

Hi Wrighty,

You can use "Selection conditions->Selection by highest/lowest" and set it to select only one runner with highest or lowest odds. You are setting bet type only for those three selections, so this rule should be last in the list so that it picks one of those three selections with highest/lowest odds.

Also at your strategy "Edit" form you should maximum number of bets per market to 1, so that strategy only places one bet.

Make sure you test it in simulation mode.

Thank for the help have added the settings as suggested.

Just another question in regards to the system in general, are you planning on bringing anything out further down the road in regards to a backstop type simulation mode, where you can create a strategy and test it out based on e.g. the previous years results.

Would be fantastic to get instant feedback on a new strategy. (from a person with no programming skills what so ever, so I have no idea how complicated something like this would be to implement).

Just checked the strategy, doesnt seem to be executing 5 seconds before the start of the match could you check my uploaded strategy when you have some time.

Strategy is ok, but there are not any matches with valid offer at the moment e.g. bad offer is on most correct score markets so overrounds are not satisfied.

You should also change time to bet and set it to place bets 3-5 minutes before start time. For more details you should read following article to understand how bot monitors markets:
