Greyhound lay odds way off

Hi,
I have a greyhounds strategy which should only place lay bets for a greyhound dog which lay odds are between 3 and 6. Unfortunately I get a lot of bets placed for odds like 7, 8 or 2.34.
I don't know why this is happening as I didn't choose worse price by certain ticks. I have chosen initial price and bets being place 10 seconds before in play. It is crucial that bets are being placed in these ranges. I am using 10 Cents stakes at the moment.
Is there a way that a bet will only be placed when these odds are guaranteed? My settings seem to work for the horses market though. I hope you guys can help me. Let me know if you need more information.
