Hi

I want to lay 2 horses in-running, at evens or less (which I know may not happen very regularly). I know I need two different strategies, but I cant seem to get it to work

Upon testing, only one strategy seems to fire, but I only want one selection laid if the other is less than evens (and vice versa). the bets werent even showing as matched

any advice appreciated. I'm sure I'm missing something out in the selection conditions

Hi Robbo,

It is not possible at Betfair to have 2 selections at same time with Lay price below 2.0 because in that case Betfair would apply cross matching algorithm and match bets instantly.

What is possible is that one selection trades below 2.0 then starts losing and its price goes up, then another selection becomes favorite and its price drops below 2.0. In this case you need to Lay any selection who has price below 2.0 and for that use Default bet type and set price range of "Any runner". Make sure you test this in simulation mode as "Default bet type" will allow betting on ALL runners. It is the price range that will filter selections out that are not in that price range.

So test it carefully, make sure you check Lay price for price range of "Any runner" and use small stakes to test it.
