Bf Bot Manager - Forum

Hi Rade, new to BF BOT 3 and just testing out a strategy on greyhounds in simulation mode. The result was a dead heat but the P&L being shown in the markets screen is as if both dogs won with no p&L reduction due to the dead heat that Betfair normally applies. Is this normal ? The race was 16:08 at Hove 20th Sep. I presume if this was run in Real mode then the P&L would be sourced from betfair and not calculated like it appears in Simulation mode.

Hi Paul,

This only happens in simulation mode because simulation mode uses simple logic to settle simulated bets (that only exist within bot). Simulation mode does not handle those special cases when there are two winners etc.

In real mode bets would be settled by Betfair and reduction factor would be applied to profit.
