Best way to handle market delays?

What's the best way to handle horse racing delayed starts?

I have a strategy that makes bets 10 seconds before the off, according to prices, in horse racing win.
But i often (especially in the non UK markets) find that when race start time is delayed, i back say 3rd fav, then race starts 5 minutes later, and my 3rd fav is now 4th fav (and of course, the universe always make that new 3rd fav win the race)

I think maybe use Start price in "determine favourite positions by using", in global strategy settings form.
But what would that do in non sp markets?

Hi cachetazo,

Have you tried using Racing - Race status condition to allow strategy to bet before race starts? This will work well for races for which race status is available e.g. UK/Irish races. For US/RSA races that usually are delayed this will not work.

BSP is only available after race starts, so that will not work.

Regards,
Rade
