How can I carry out this strategy?

I would like to back a horse to finish in place and then back the horse to win with a stake calculated from the winnings if the horse was to finish in place. So, £1 at 4.0 odds to win gives a £1 win with a place finish, so a £1 bet is placed on the horse to finish in place and £1 is placed on the horse to win.

Hi Daniel,

There is no option to use profit from Place market bet and set that on Win market bet.

But what you can do is set your Place market strategy to go for "amount to win" e.g. adjust stake so that it always wins same amount of £2.

Then you can set Win strategy to always use level stake of £2.

Place market strategy stakes will be different as odds will be different, but profit will always be the same, that is £2.

Rade

Ok, I understand the theory. But, struggling to actually set up my strategy to make a bet to place.

Could you guide me a little, please?

Hi Daniel,

Attached is strategy file that you should save to your computer and then within V3 version use "Import strategies" button to import this strategies file.

After that two example strategy will appear in list of strategies that will work like I explained.

Make sure you load Win and Place markets and to test those strategies in simulation mode. Once you tested them in simulation mode you can adjust them as you like.

Rade
