hi wondering if its possible to bet on say fav position 2 that is runner position 4 as well(1 runner), or if horse in fav position 4, only bet if its runner position is 2or 3.

You can use "Bet type by favorite position" to set bet type on specific favorite by position e.g. 2.

Then you can use "3.2.19.1 Racing - Filter horses by detailed information" condition to allow betting only on runners with specific "CLOTH_NUMBER" if that is what you are looking for?

thanks raid. iam not after the cloth number but did try runner by position must be xth favorite soo will test that and see

Hi thebeans,

In bot you can find options for "runner by position" and that is just runner position in list of runners that bot receives from Betfair. For example, first runner by position at greyhound races is trap 1, first runner by position on football Match odds markets is home team and away team is runner by position 2 etc.

You can use following combination of conditions to bet on 2nd favorite if it is runner by position 4:
1. Bet type by favorite position, set this for 2nd
2. Selections filter, tick option to allow betting on runners by position and in textbox enter 4

Then try it out in simulation mode.
