Hedging on horses in play

Hi guys, just want to say thank you for everyone's help so far. Been great!

I'm looking to lay the fav. horse, then back in play if odds drop below a certain level. I'd like the back bet to recover the losses and profit of the lay bet.

As always, thanks in advance!

Hi Daniel,

Thank you for your support!

This can be done by using V3 or Multiple Favorites bot. In V3 you can use example strategy that is set to lay favorite and then add to it "After bet rules->Hedge" condition that will hedge your position if price goes below specified price. Hedge will give you equal profit/loss regardless if horse wins or loses. Optionally you can use "After bet rules->Close" condition that will give you loss or profit on one outcome and zero profit on another.

Regards,
Rade

Brilliant, I think this is exactly what I am looking for. One other thing. Is it possible to only check the odds and place the hedge bet only after 45 seconds?

Also, is there a guide on this particular section I could read up on for more information on each setting? Struggled to find anything on it in the manual.

Thanks!

Hi Daniel,

Following manual is for V3 version:
https://www.bfbotmanager.com/documents/ ... manual.pdf

There is section "3.5.2 Hedge" at page 89 and it has details on each option that can trigger hedge. This includes time after market goes in play.
