Is there a way to stake the first selection only in a strategy as a different stake to all other selections which will then follow staking rules?

The first bet is a calibration bet in my system and will always leave me in a loss position. I would like to minimise this initial loss thus leaving more profit. The system then picks up normal staking and continues to follow normal rules unless reset.

You can use "Staking->Simple sequence overall p/l" staking plan, set first multiplier to small value e.g. 0.10 and for others user regular value e.g. 1.0. Use it in combination with "Level/initial stake" staking plan.

Then test it in simulation mode.
