In the Betfair interface, a tick changes size in different ranges.

ie 1.02 to 1.04 is 2 ticks, whereas 2.02 to 2.04 is 1 tick.

If I trade out, based on the amount of ticks, will bfbot calculate it based on what range it's in, or will a tick always be 0.01?

Bot uses Betfair ladder and correct tick size depending on the price. Tick size is not fixed to 0.01.
