Hey guys :)

I've got two really quick questions, hope to get some support.

1. How is "Chance" determined?

2. I'm testing a strategy where I place on positions which have chance over 25%. I am seeing some runners who goes for example from 10% chance and back/lay bets offers for ex. 15/30 to chance of 30% and offers 1.9/2 or something like this.

So, my question is how to limit by offer decrease? For example if the offer is worsen by more than 50% the soft to not place a bet?

For example back offer of 10 goes to 4 is 60% decrease => no bet.
Back offer goes from 5 to 4 (20% decrease) => bet.

Thanks :)

Hi there,

Answers:
1. chance is calculated by using back and lay price, chance value = 1.0 / (back + lay) / 2.0 e.g. middle price of 2.0 is equal to 50% chance value

2. you can use Selection conditions->Price change - steamers/drifters rule to allow betting only on runners whose price changes by X% or more

Hey,

thanks for the reply Rade.

Do not want to open new thread, suddenly one of my strategies stopped placing bets. Screenshot attached. May you help?

Thanks!

I've copied my strategy (not duplicate) and now everything works fine. It's on 0.10 EUR at Matchbook not BF.

Thanks anyways, now it's ok.
