Is there a simple way for me to prevent one strategy from placing bets on a particular event if another strategy has had a losing trade on a different (settled) market within the same event?

You can use "Market conditions->Only if specified strategy has bets" and set it to check for matched/unmatched bets on same event or market. This rule has option not to allow betting if selected strategy has bets on same event. You can add it twice, once to check for matched bets and second time to check for unmatched bets. But there is no option to check if trade was winning or losing, just to check if there are bets on that market/event.
