hi
if you back the dogs fav,2nd fav and 3rd fav at odds of 4.00 to 6.00 you will get a strike rate of about 40% try it out and don't use recovery just try .10 stakes

Well 45 what would be losing run if u drop that price for a minimu of @6.00, i think it wouldn't be a problem then if only it happens once say in a month time, did u test them 4rth often?

hi
if you altered the price to 6 it would increase the loseing run to 45+, not a good idea, when i say loseing run of 45 it is based on any odds 1.01 min 1000.00 max so by altering the odds you just increase the loseing runs, the min i recorded was 2.64 and the max was 18.5.

hi
i dont test any fav my bot just takes a record of all favs and odds approx 1 sec before the start then records the winning fav and the odds so im left with all the winning favs and winning odds at the end of the day, i dont know what the loseing odds are because im not interested in loseing only winning.

Yeah i had 2nd favorites 27 losers as well, today was 22 in a row 4rth favorites, hard with laying i would say if using recovery, with backing to win as well, as not much of them are winning and long run kills, what about outsiders mcbee 6th favorites, i know you are backing them dogs, but anyway for 5th and 6th favorites how often they do win, in a row for example how many we can have winners.losers in a row?

Really hard to make money with this no matter laying or backing. Anyway what do you think in a long term with this settings:

Bank: 100£
Stake : 0.02% - 2p
Aim is 1% a day so this is where 30% should come every month... i wish
Lay: 4rth favorite
Recovery 50%
Losses in a pot: 1
Max loss recovery libility: 10% - 10£
Max loss -% undecided, 40%??
Price range: 1.01-11.00

hi
at 1 to 11 based on past records you would have max 45 losses (lay wins) and 3 wins (lay losses) in a row, so plan for 4 losses in a row then you should be ok.
but these are back prices so your lay prices will be different.
and if you make the goal post to wide you will get to many goals that you dont want, so 1.01 to 11 is very wide.

Price means nothing really, market got no brain, same like if you lay before 20sec 1st favorite and after 10sec there is another 1st favorite and boom, your 1st favorite actually was 2nd favorite and won the race, but there is no much knowlidge with greyhounds as well, completly random.

Hi Mcbee,

Greyhounds
What about laying 3rd,4th & 5th fav in one race, No Recovery.? I am trying 3rd & 4th at minute, only started today. Just got the resulst of 3rd & 4th fav from yesterday and at one point I was making a profit of about 30p with 2p stakes but at the end of the day it came down to break even with a 1p profit when the last race came in.

Cheers

This is a strange method, most people only use multiple dogs in backing to have bigger chance to profit. But yon on the other hand seems like you want to get hit. When laying you normally want as low percentage as possible that one of your dogs get up and win. In your case you are making that 50/50 and in the long run I'm sure you will lose more money then you will gain with this strategy.

This is suicide!
