A good thing to remember is that to reduce the chance of loss and to make a long term profit it is better to target few random races and make small profit every day and leave instead for placing bets on every race and fall in the risk of a row of consecutive losses that might kill your bank in one day.

Hi sportking, cartex,

Question:
Why bot stopped placing bets?

Answer:
When you pick runners by using "Fav." column then bets on those runners are considered as Bot Bets. You are just telling bot which runners are favorites and settings from main window are used.

You have ticked option "Place only bets on my selections" and that is why bot stopped placing bets. Those bets are bot bets, it is just that you told bot which selection is favorite.

User Bets are the bets that are placed on runners where you ticked Back or Lay checkbox on Selections Form and those bets have different set of settings.

Question:
Why bot skipped two races?

Answer:
Runner "Return to Petal" had price 10 and when using "Ask for higher/lower price" then actual price that bot would ask would be 11 and this price is outside your price range, so this means no bet on your runner.
Runner "Alrita Petal", I am not sure why it skipped this one, but it is possible that results for previous races were not available in this moment. Try turning off option to allow X unsettled markets and see how bot works.

Hi Sportking,

Can you please send log file to my email (just reply to the email in which you got your trial license key)? It is called log.txt and it should be in folder "C:\Program Files\bfbotmanager.com\Bf Bot Manager V1".

Also screenshots of Requests Form and your settings will be helpful after you made those changes.

Also try setting bot to place bets 2 minutes before start time, maybe your PC time is not accurate.

In my case, with my computer that files doesn't generate automatically unless I run the software as amin.
Try to run bot as admin and see if that file pops up, "right click on the exe file and choose run as admin and try to run it for a while and see if the file appears"

Yes, Cartex is right.

File cannot be created because application does not have permission. This is fixed in Bf Bot Manager V2.

hi
there is a lot to learn in a short time but when you realize the potential of a betting bot then you will make money, the problem with most bot users is they think that the bot will reverse there bad luck but the bot will only increase bad luck, a bot WILL help you to increase a good system, a bot WILL only do what YOU instruct it to DO, if you have a system that produces 50% winners then the bot will work with you, if your system has less than 50% winners then the bot most probably will work against you, THE BOT WILL HELP YOU IF YOUR SYSTEM IS ABOVE AVERAGE, and if below average it WILL increase your losses.
BUT with the sim mode you can design a system that is above average and then the bot will help to improve your profits.

i hope this helps you

Hi sportking,
I can see clearly now the reason why the recovery didn't go as you planned and why it didn't recover in the next race but in the race after that.

Reason:
- You can see that the races where it didn't recover in the next race did run about 5-6 min after the previous race and normally you will hardly get the result in and and get an updated profit loss within that time frame. I think that is why it didn't recover in some of the races.

Alternative solution you can try:
- Set up the bot as usual for all settings you would have used for automatic bot selection (odds range, stake, if its back or lay bet and all other settings you would like to adjust in the main window since those are for bot bets)
- Set bot to use bot bets only
- Keep recovery at 125%
- When you pick your dogs manually - Instead of using the back/lay columns, use the first column (fav column). In this case it will look at your selection as 1fst fav regardless of current 1st fav in the race.
- Then set the bot to pick the 1st fav in the race (the bot will pick your selection)
- Use 0 unsettled bets (this will work great now and all your loss will try to get recovered in the next race) !VERY IMPORTANT to be set to 0, since I see that you normally set this to 2.

Your selections will be considers as the same as bot selection and it should really work fine in this case since the unsettled bet function will kick in. All losses will be tried to get recovered in the next possible race depending on your settings for losses in pot and max liability.

I heard you said it was your last trial day yesterday, but if you still got couple of hours left for today's races, try this.

hi Rade,
"random runner function": when it picks a random runner, will it pick a runner at random and then compare it to my odds range or will it pick a random runner within my odds range? Just not clear about that

Hi Cartex,

It will pick random runner and then compare its price against your min/max price range. If price is within range then it will place bet, if it is not then it will try next time when market prices are collected to pick new random runner and compare it with price range again... Once it finds random runner that is within your price range then bet gets placed and bot is done with that market.

Hi Rade,
in the bot we have the setting to auto stop the bot f.ex after 5 consecutive wins, do you think you could add another feature so that I will be able to stop the bot like "Stop the bot after f.ex 5 wins" and not necessarily consecutive wins?
