Back/Lay Favorite Bot - Settings

Postby Rade » Thu Apr 09, 2009 2:12 pm

Hi :-)

Many people asked me what settings I use for this bot, and they also asked me what settings are other users using. The thing is that many of you use the bot every day, but from some reason you are not willing to share your settings :|

I already published my settings, so here they are again:
Loss pot recovery = 50%
Max recovery stake = 4EUR
Initial stake = 0.40EUR
Number of losses in loss pot = 1 (more losses in loss pot means higher risk but faster recovery of loss, so if you are willing to risk more money then you can try to use 2 or 3 losses in loss pot)

And with initial stake of 0.4EUR I always have at least 40EUR at my account! This means that if you use 2GBP stakes you should have 200GBP at your account.

What settings do you use people? What is your strategy?

Hi, i would like to ask u something. First why havent u yet been playing with bigger bets?. U have a system that works and ur betting only with 0.4 € bets?. My second question is, would it be better to just put a Loss pot recovery of 110 % if u had a big roll ?.

Ty for replies =)

Hi Kiro,

Those settings are for Greyhounds (low total traded volume), and if you hit a losing run then very fast your stakes will increase. You always need to have at least 100 times larger betting bank then your stake, so that you have enough money to recover losses. In this case betting bank was 40+ euros.

You cannot end every day in profit, there are good days and bad days. So bet only with money that you can afford to lose, and do not be greedy by increasing stakes. Idea is to end month with profit, not to win lot of money instantly.

Next version of Bf Bot Manager, that I am going to publish on Sunday 28th June, will have something similar to 110% loss recovery which is actually recovering losses in advance.

New features to loss recovery system will be:
- increase loss recovery stake by Xgbp when Y losing bets in row
- smart loss recovery, adjusts loss recovery amount by looking at profit/loss from last N bets
- minimum loss recovery amount

Regards,
Rade

U should also do a cycle system where example If ur loss pot recovery is betting 110 % and u loose that loss pot than the bot should be able to cycle it again so the next bet would bet the loss of ( ur loss + 110 % of the last bet = 110 % of those two. If u know what i mean. But i hope the members who are playing here could show some higher level graphs etc.

Hello there!
I'm new around here, and my english isn't very good, so hope you can understand me...
I will share my strategy, hoping to hear from you some good critics, in a way that I can improve it and who knows, also learn a lot more about the bot and how to settle it...

Back/Lay Favorite Bot
Only UK Horses (LAY Favorite)
50s - time to place bets before start
Stake is equal to 1% of the bankroll...
Number of runners - 3 to 40
Do not allow more than 0 unsettled markets
Always request lower and higher price

Back prices - 4 and 2
Lay prices - 1.8 and 5.8

Overound - 110% and 90%

Loss Pot Recovery - 50%
Losses in Loss Pot - 1
Mass Loss Recovery Liabilitie - 4eur
Save Loss Pot
Add Loss Pot Recovery to my bets
Smart Loss Recovery

For now, in simulation mode and real mode it's working for me... growing my bank slowly...
What do you think? Very conservative I know...
One more question, for example my bankroll here is 40eur... and the stake will be 40cent...
When can/should I raise the stake? And raise it to what value?
Hope to hear some critics from you...
:P

hi
when your bank is 80€, then remove 20€ and start a new bank with 60€ at 1% until it again doubles.

Thanks.
That seems a good idea :D
But my bankroll isn't 40eur, that was just an example...
Let me try to explain you my real question : Is there the same amount of risk, using 40cent stake with a 40eur bankroll as using 1eur stake with a 100eur bankroll?

hi
yes, 1% is the same for any amount.
but you should double your bank, then take 25% out and restart a new bank amount.
